How to Fold an Origami Swan

Step 1. Start white side up. Fold in half from corner to corner, then unfold.

Step 2. Fold the lower left edge to the center line.

Step 3. Fold the lower right edge to the center line.

Step 4. Turn the paper over.

Step 5. Fold the lower edge to the center line again.

Step 6. Fold the other lower edge to the center line.

Step 7. Fold the bottom point up to the top point.

Step 8. Fold the model in half behind, along the center line.

Step 9. Turn the model so the fold is at the bottom.

Step 10. Pull the neck up and flatten it. This is an outside reverse fold.

Step 11. Pull the tip forward and flatten it to make the head.

Done. Open the body slightly so the swan stands.
