How to Fold an Origami Soldier's Cap

All 9 steps

Step 1. Start white side up. Fold in half from top to bottom, then unfold.
Step 2. Turn the paper over.
Step 3. Fold in half corner to corner, then unfold.
Step 4. Fold in half along the other diagonal, then unfold.
Step 5. Push the two side edges in along the middle crease and flatten the paper into a triangle.
Step 6. Fold the right corner of the front layer up to the top point.
Step 7. Fold the left corner up the same way. The front is now a square standing on a point.
Step 8. Fold the right corner of the square in to its center.
Step 9. Fold the left corner in to the center the same way.
Done. The soldier's cap (Weaver, Paper and Scissors in the Schoolroom, 1893). Open the bottom and put it on.
